"I had a planned c-section because my son was breech. Well, you get morphine and it makes you a bit loopy. Right after my son was born they took him to the table with the pediatrician. All I could see was the top of his head and I really wanted to see him! I kept asking my husband over and over, "Is he OK? Is he OK?". A few hours later my husband told me that I wasn't actually asking if he was OK, but that I had actually been asking over and over "Is he cute? Is he cute?". I was so embarrassed! What kind of person did the doctors and nurses think I was if all I was concerned about was that my son was good looking? Next time I'm keeping my mouth shut because the morphine makes me crazy!"

"I was pregnant during some remodeling on our house. One day I came home and I had been nauseous all morning. I got out of the car and saw our contractor and team working on the house. Instantly I got sick and threw up all over the bark dust in our front yard. As if that wasn't bad enough, the sheer force of throwing up caused me to pee my pants and I couldn't stop, so there I was throwing up and peeing myself in front of five guys. The guys started speaking Spanish. Little did they know I speak Spanish. They were calling me "Crazy pregnant lady".

"I was about 7 months pregnant and out for a walk in the cold winter air. I got about a mile and a half from my house and had a sudden urge to pee and it was too late to stop it. I totally peed my pants. Luckily I was wearing black pants so it sort of disguised things, but walking a mile-and-a-half in pee pants in the winter: not fun."

"I was just about 9 months pregnant and stepped into a crowded department store elevator. I underestimated the depth of the elevator and it just about closed on my gigantic belly. Everyone had to move in so I could fit. I was mortified."

"Late one evening when I was about 4 months pregnant (and not really 'showing' yet) I realized that I was just about out of my prenatal vitamins, so I decided to make a quick run to Walgreens to grab some. While I was there I got a text from my husband to pick him up some beer. I'm sure you can tell where this is going... I got in line and without even thinking twice about it set my two items on the counter. The checker looked at me strangely as my turn in line approached and it was only then that I realized the paradox of my purchase. I said, 'Oh...ummm...I bet this looks like a really strange purchase.' and the checker cut me off saying, 'Hey. I don't ask questions. Whatever helps you get through.' So embarrassing!"

"On more than one occasion, I walked out of a bathroom stall with my shirt still pulled up to my bra because I felt covered by the stretchy panel on my maternity pants. The funny looks from others in the bathroom informed me of my wardrobe malfunction."

"In my 15th week of pregnancy I had just started getting my baby bump, but didn't have enough of a bump to spend the month on maternity pants, so I was wearing my pants with the button undone and pairing them with long shirts to help accommodate my growing midsection. One afternoon I was exhausted from a long day at work and wanted to catch the train home so I could nap before a planned night out. The train came a few minutes early, so I had to run for it. Halfway to the train I nearly fell because my pants were falling towards my ankles. Needless to say I missed that train."
