When I had my oldest son, I never realized there was this huge world of designer diaper bags out there, and I am sure my husband is very happy about that also, because if I did know, I would have quite the collection by now.
Fortunately for him, and my bank account, I just became acquainted with all the styles from SkipHop, to Petunia Pickle Bottom. But unfortunately for all involved, I have a new hand bag obsession that focuses on diapers and the must leave the house with accessories for my kids.
Who said diaper bags have to be ugly?
When it came to picking one for this baby, I wanted something practical, with enough extra room to store some of the extra diapers, or gear I need for my older boys, as well as the baby. Let’s face it, at the kids get older, they take up less room in the diaper bag. The smallest babies need the most stuff, truly astounding!
My first pick when I was looking around was the Skip Hop Duo Deluxe. I fell in love with the Cherry Bloom pattern which is the picture I have featured over there to the left. The other color I really loved in this bag was the Apple Green. But I thought to myself, finally we have a little girl, so I can actually get a pattern or color that is girly! And even before I bought it myself, I scored the same bag at my baby shower. I have since packed it for the kids, and it truly is awesome. My favorite feature is the magnets that help secure the pockets. An amazingly bright idea, especially for the modern Mom.
Some of the other bags I fell in love with in my search, but I have little one-on-one experience with are…
There are tons more, but I had to limit myself a little bit! Eventually I would love to add all of these to my collection, but alas, I can only really get away with having one at a time!
What are some of your favorite diaper bags?
