Ten Nurseries for the Girls

By Melanie Blodgett |

vintage inspired nursery
I have news for you, blue isn’t strictly reserved for the boys anymore. This is made very apparent in most of these nurseries for baby girls where blue is outshining pink and I can’t say I’m bummed about it. I love the fresh approach and I think you will too once you take a glance at the ten beautiful nurseries I have spotlighted for you today.

i have to say, they’re mostly “ok” i am super traditional and the blue is not working for me. my girls NEED pink and purple and all things girly (even though my oldest has decided eating floor dirt and picking up rocks is where it’s at). that is the best part of having a little girl IMO you get to go crazy because boys don’t have so many pretty detail specific nursery/bedroom themes. the up coming paint job at this house involves lavender paint and fluffy pink based bedding for the room make over

I love seeing the blue girl nurseries. I’m having a girl in January and her nursery is going to be Tiffany blue, grey and coral with some pops of plum. If she wants a pink room in the future then she can have it, but for now she’ll have what I like ;P

Besides, what is more girly than a Tiffany’s box?

These rooms are too bland, and blah looking. I don’t see any pizzaz really. The neutral trend is not appealing to me.

i have to say they are all beautiful- decorating does not come easy to me and decorating a nursery would probably send me over the edge in delight/terror/empty wallet
