Turn Any Bag into a Diaper Bag

Believe it or not, I went through my whole pregnancy without ever reading mom blogs — specifically mom blogs that featured really cool baby gear. So, needless to say, I wasn’t quite as informed as I am now. And that’s why I didn’t use a diaper bag.

Of course now I know that there are plenty of cute diaper bags out there, but everything I found in the Baby Superstores was cheesy, ugly, and…mom-ish. (Pregnancy can take my jeans, it can even take my heels, but nothing will ever take my bags.)

I also had (and still have) a huge aversion to buying things to use for a short, specific time period. So I just stuck to the oversized bag I already had and bought a travel changing pad.

Yet if I only knew about this smart idea from Funktion! I would’ve been so happy to have the organization and convenience of a diaper bag with the style of my pre-baby handbag. (And possibly less spills and messes!)

Funktion was designed by a mom who, like me, didn’t want to trade in her beloved bags for less stylish, baby-approved stand-ins. So she created a pretty little collection of mom essentials that help make any bag more functional and organized — like a changing pad, wipes case, paci purse, bottle holder, grab bag, and more.

I tried these out myself and I can honestly say the quality is fantastic. And they look so pretty together too!

If you’re thinking about going this route, I’d recommend starting with the changing pad, grab bag, and wipes case. (I also love the adorable diaper clutch and paci purse!)

Buy them online from Funktion starting at $24 and ranging up to $199 for the complete set.
