23-year-old twin sisters not only unknowingly got pregnant at the same time, but they both gave birth to boys at the same time. And before you get all eye-rolly on me, nobody was induced!
That definitely tops this set of twins giving birth two hours apart. What are the odds of that happening?
As Shawna over at Mommyish says, New Jersey-based sisters, Danielle Fisher and Nicole Fisher were born 12 minutes apart in 1988. Cut to now when they each gave birth to sons 13 minutes apart.
Apparently Danielle and her boyfriend announced they were expecting first. A couple weeks later Nicole and her boyfriend learned they too were expecting, but waited a couple months before sharing the news.
One week past her due date and after more than 20 hours of labor, Danielle gave birth to Jonathan on Tuesday at 7:43 p.m. Thirteen minutes later, Nicole, who wasn’t due for another two weeks, delivered her son Maximus in a nearby room. Unlike her sister, Nicole only labored for twenty minutes.
Meanwhile, the girls’ mother Lisa Fisher was busy running between the two rooms and giving each daughter constant updates on the other’s progress.
“Who gets to go through something like this with your twin sister?” Danielle said. “We have done everything together our whole lives.”
