Maybe it’s because a diaper bag appeals to my inner organizational freak. Maybe I just really like purses of all kinds. Or maybe, just maybe, I view diaper bags as the ultimate “I’m a mom” material symbol. The diaper bag – don’t leave home without it!
What do you carry in your diaper bag?
I’m curious to know what’s in your diaper bag. Right now, our diaper bag is pretty minimal because Henry is a newborn. He doesn’t require much in terms of entertainment or food.
Here’s what I carry:
- Five clean diapers
- A packet of wipes
- A folding changing pad
- Two outfit changes
- Hand sanitizer
- A plastic bag for dirty diapers
- A baby hat
- A energy bar (for me)
- A burp cloth
- A swaddle blanket
The biggest diaper bag ‘rule’ that I’ve learned in the last two weeks is to refill the bag when you get home – not when you’re trying to leave. It’s a lot easier to keep everything straight that way!
So – what do you stash in your diaper bag?
