With my first pregnancy 9 years ago, the first book I was told to purchase was What to Expect When You’re Expecting.
I bought it and was overwhelmed by the information. Information OVERLOAD.
The book was published in 1984 and is now in it’s 4th edition sits at the top of the New York Times best sellers list (and has for more than 500 weeks!). From indigestion to postpartum depression, What to Expect When You’re Expecting is a detailed guide to all things pregnancy and is often referred to as the Pregnancy Bible.
But like me, many modern moms are not to hip to jump on the What to Expect When You’re Expecting bandwagon. With the internet in your pocket, any information about pregnancy – you can now get online and with engage in other mom’s real life experiences which to me is much more practical.
