Spring has sprung and with it the inevitable question, when is Mother’s Day?
The date varies depending on the year and what country you live in.
The United States celebrates Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in May. This year the date for Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8 so you’ve got just over a month to get mom something special. Or maybe you’re due around Mother’s Day. A baby would be the ultimate mom’s day gift, no? I told my husband, Serge, we were expecting our second child on Father’s Day. You can watch the video here.
In the United Kingdom “Morning Sunday” falls on the fourth Sunday in Lent. In 2011, Mothering Sunday is today, April 3. Ireland also celebrates Mothering Sunday.
