Win a Copy of the Healthy Tipping Point Book!

In addition to posting on Babble, I write a healthy living blog called Healthy Tipping Point. Very often, I would have readers email me and ask if I have any healthy living book recommendations, and I could never think of a title to suggest. In my experience, most ‘diet’ books were gimmicky or inherently negative in tone (if you know any great books, please recommend them in the comments section!). I wanted to recommend a book that was proactive, positive, balanced, and encouraging. In response, I wrote Healthy Tipping Point: A Powerful Program for a Stronger, Happier You, which was released this Tuesday.

While I think women at all stages of life could benefit from reading the book, I really believe that pregnant women and mommas would love it, too. After all, my book is all about embracing who you are and reaching your dreams – key qualities for any mother.

In the book, I’ll help you find your personal ideal balance in food, fitness, love, and life, in a breakthrough program organized around three shifts: Get Real (challenge negative-thought patterns to create space for success), Eat Clean (ditch conventional “diet” advice and follow a simple eating plan tailored to keep energy high, while helping the environment—including forty-five delicious vegetarian recipes for foodies on the go), and Embrace Strength (commit to a high-powered fitness program designed to help one learn to love exercise and build a strong, lean body—with targeted guidance for novice runners, bikers, swimmers, and others).

Featuring twenty inspiring success stories and photos of people who have transformed their lives, the book proves that a healthy body is absolutely attainable. Healthy living and a healthy self-image go hand in hand. For anyone who struggles to get fit, Healthy Tipping Point provides the drive to thrive.

I’m giving away five copies of the book on Babble!  To enter to a win a copy of the Healthy Tipping Point book, simply leave a comment telling me about one of your recent healthy successes – whether big or small! I’ll pick the winners on Monday.
