Woman Gives Birth in MOVING Minivan
Now THIS is the kind of labor and delivery I’m talking about.
My husband driving, breaking speed limits, flying down the Interstate as I grip the dash board and pant through contractions.
It’s what happened to Marriah Love last week. She and Kaleb Benge were headed to the hospital in their minivan when their daughter decided now was as good a time as any to make her grand entrance into the world.
As Jezebel.com reports, Love said “She started coming out. I didn’t even have to push, she just came out and I pulled her the rest of the way out.
CAN YOU IMAGINE? I can! That’s the childbirth of my dreams, I’m serious! No muss no fuss. Baby out before you even get to the hospital. In fact, I’d think twice about even going to the hospital. I suppose I’d go to get baby checked out but I wouldn’t be spending the night, I can tell you that much. Not only is labor easy, but think of the savings! I know, I’m a cheap bastard but seriously, do you know how much having a baby in the hospital costs?
Benge couldn’t believe what had just happened. He tells KCCI.com, “”I knew she kept saying, ‘She’s coming, she’s coming, she’s coming,’… When I turned on the light and I look over and she’s holding our daughter, it’s just a feeling that I can’t explain. Best feeling I’ve ever had in my life!”
“I just wiped off her face and made sure she could breathe,” said Love. The couple just kept on driving to the hospital. Doctors say baby is healthy. The best part? Her birth certificate lists her place of birth as, “Interstate 80, Waukee.”
Awesome.
From intense to unpredictable: Real moms share their birthing stories!

I so wish that is the way mine went! And…yes, hospital births are ridiculous expensive.
I made it to the hospital carpark, but couldn’t get out of the car as my sons’ head was crowning so the midwives had to assist with the birth in the back seat of my doula’s car! I credit Hypnobirthing with alot of the ease. I birthed the placenta in the hospital, but then only stayed a couple of hrs to have a shower & wait for a dr to check over the baby. I’m worried that next birth I won’t even make it to the hospital. Im trying to find a course in what do to in the event of that so that hubby & I can be prepared!
