Babble Best Picks: Baby BottlesThough new to the world, babies are surprisingly opinionated about which bottles and nipples they agree to - often without rhyme or reason. In the end, the best bottle is the one that your babe agrees to latch on to. We've made your job a little easier and saved you some trial-and-error time by narrowing down the best baby bottles out there, from glass bottles to best for preemies. Don't see the bottle your baby loves? Nominate your favorite here. - Kate Bayless
BEST OVERALL | The First Years BreastFlow Bottle
While you may have heard of First Years before, you may not be as familiar with their Breastflow Bottle, which takes top honors as our Babble Best. The BPA-free bottle features a dual-core nipple, which provides babies with the closest imitation of an actual breast. The nipple has a soft outer layer and harder inner tube that requires baby to latch on the same way they would to a real breast. While many bottles often stream liquid too easily and too quickly into the babies’ mouth, the BreastFlow lets baby control the flow of milk through suction and compression.
The bottle also scores points for ease of use. Even with the two-piece nipple, the BreastFlow was easy to clean, and the cap even attaches to the bottom of the bottle to prevent it from getting lost.
At just about $5 a bottle, the BreastFlow provides an exceptional product at a reasonable price.
