Babble Best Picks:
Bath Toys
We all know the standard bath boats, bath cups and, of course, the iconic rubber duckies - but what are the best bath toys that will drag your kids away from their LEGO constructions and into the tub? We rounded up the best of the best - from old-school classics to genius new ideas - to make bath sessions more developmentally stimulating and less of a kicking-and-splashing fight. Did we forget one? Nominate your favorite here. - Michelle Horton
BEST BATH BOAT | Green Toys Tugboat
Bath boats have always been a tub-time staple - from small fishing boats to elaborate sailboats - but our absolute favorite has to be this lightweight tugboat from Green Toys. Not only does it float well and dry quickly, it has a spout to pour water so kids can be creative and make a waterfall or practical and rinse out shampoo. Moms can also feel good that the entire boat is made from recycled milk containers with no BPA, PVC, phthalates or other questionable materials.
BEST BATH GAME | Milliwik Splashimals
If we were to pick one bath toy to recommend above all others, these Milliwik bath cards would be it. Made of a floatable, mold-resistant, foam-like material that sticks to the tub and walls, we guarantee they’ll be used longer than any other toy in your bathtub arsenal. While there are several different types of Milliwik bath games, our favorite is Splashimals, which includes a set of cards featuring half an animal and half of the animal’s name on each one. Young toddlers can start off with simple animal recognition – putting the animals together – and eventually play memory games and even combine the cards to create new, wacky animals. Plus, they make pretty cool bathtub décor.
