MOST USEFUL | ERGO Baby Organic Carrier
ERGO Baby seems to have a cult following similar to the Bjorn, and it’s easy to see why. While most carriers have a more limited weight span, this ERGO Baby carrier can be used for newborns (with the infant insert, $25, that holds your baby in a sling-like position) up through 40-pound toddlers. It can also be worn on your front, back, and hip, providing much-needed versatility. While it wasn’t quite as comfortable as the BabyBjorn – especially for long-term use – this ERGO is certainly lighter and more compact for traveling, and the built-in sun hood is an added bonus for sleeping or nursing babies. While it’s a tad expensive, you’ll definitely get the most out of your money with this one.
