The Graveyard Book’s Rankings
- #7 Young Adult
Finally, a totally unique and slightly dark twist on an orphan story! When a baby boy’s family is killed, the baby wanders off to the town graveyard, where he grows up with ghosts as his family. Weird, I know, but it’s deliciously good. We find ourselves drawn to the main character, Nobody, and his innocent curiosity about the world outside the graveyard. It’s a book about growing up and moving on in life, which happens to us all, macabre setting or not.
