Top 25 Android Apps for Kids

You may view your Android phone as a communications device, but your kids know that it's actually an awesome mobile gaming center. When you're caught in traffic or facing an unexpectedly long wait at the pediatrician's office, you are going to hand over that phone. The kids will be happy, you'll be relieved, and, if you choose your apps carefully, they might even learn something while they play. On a safety note, while some of these games have the option to network with other players, I don't recommend that for kids. Angry Birds

In perhaps the greatest rivalry since King Kong took on Godzilla, Angry Birds pits a flock of feathered fliers against the evil green pigs who have stolen their eggs. Players use slingshots to send the birds headlong into various pig-sheltering structures, which they attempt to topple. This game is wildly popular with kids and adults, who generally find it as entertaining as it is challenging. Those who finally manage to defeat the pigs on every level will probably want to move on to the sequels: Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio.

   It’s free and does NOT show any ads. Free hand drawing is enabled on a random basis only in the free version, though.

   No ads, they also put a button lock their apps. No more worrying about your kid calling 911 while they’re playing the game in the back seat.
