MoneyTrail’s Rankings

At our house, we used to pay the kids a small allowance every Sunday – if we remembered. But the kids didn’t actually carry their own cash to the toy store, so we ended up with an increasingly complicated system of IOUs, mostly tracked on little slips of paper. MoneyTrail offers a solution. Set up one or more accounts for each of your kids to track their allowance, gifts (including gift cards), and spending. If you like, allowance and interest can be added to the accounts automatically each week or month, and the mobile app makes it easy to check balances and note spending wherever you are. Note: The app and its corresponding website don’t handle your actual money; they just automate and simplify all that record keeping.

“Health Album” by pingMD is a great new health solution for parents. You can record your childs growth, development, vaccinations and other medical information. The App is really easy to use so you have quick access to your childs health details. There is a membership requirement for connecting with your Doctor and your Doctor needs to be a part of the service, but the secure information portal alone is great.
