WebMD’s Rankings

A recent addition to the Android Market, the WebMD app includes a symptom checker, information about medical conditions and treatments, the ability to search for local health providers, and perhaps most importantly, first aid information that’s stored on your phone, so it will work even if your device’s connection fails. All of these features are generally quick and easy to find – just what you want when you’re trying to find answers to an immediate problem in a flash.

“Health Album” by pingMD is a great new health solution for parents. You can record your childs growth, development, vaccinations and other medical information. The App is really easy to use so you have quick access to your childs health details. There is a membership requirement for connecting with your Doctor and your Doctor needs to be a part of the service, but the secure information portal alone is great.

The ZipList has a number of features that we found to be favorites among moms. The list is automatically grouped by food type or store aisle order so you can get in and out of the store faster. The second is that it saves favorite recipes to one box and those recipes can be easily added to the shopping list with just one click. The Android app is free too, which is always nice :)

Thanks for the list of handy resources! One of my recent favorites which has been very helpful for sharing my personal videos is the free RealPlayer cloud app. You’re able to add videos of any format to your collection in the cloud and it is automatically adjusted for your device screen-size, bandwidth and device type prior to playback. Such a time saver and so easy to use!

For all I know, this app might be the best of its kind but the title is so offensive to me that I would never use it. Dads also go shopping, take care of kids, use recipes and participate in household chores. I hope everyone who posted here is as lucky as I am to have a husband who shares all of that with me. Change you app name and I’ll sign up although I doubt you will do that, much less let me post this
