Travel Savvy Mom | Jamie Pearson
Who: Jamie Pearson, mom of two, Palo Alto, CA
Why we love this site: Full of practical advice for a wide variety of trips – including dude ranches (bring a sports bra), ski vacations (splurge on “fast passes” for lifts when available) and cultural explorations abroad (pack comfort snacks just in case your kid doesn’t like local cuisine) – the Travel Savvy Mom and her network of “been there, done that” writers are pretty hilarious. Note her top three pieces of family travel advice: “1) never leave home without peanut butter, 2) no child is too big for a stroller, and 3) bring plenty of new toys – $50 for three pounds of plastic crap will seem like the deal of the century at 3 a.m. in a London hotel.” Follow this blog and you’ll never be unprepared again.
