The What’s What: We found ourselves clicking through page after page of this highly addictive DIY-clothing blog, completely entranced by its beautiful photographs of adorable children (wearing LBB’s wares), heartwarming parenting posts, and, of course, craft tutorials on things like screen printing, making your own clothing labels, and upcycling (turning otherwise useless waste into high-quality, sustainable products). If you enjoy looking at the products but don’t consider yourself crafty enough to tackle one of her gorgeous designs, you can also buy premade clothing from the Lil Blue Boo line here.
The Mama: Ashley and her adorable daughter, “Boo,” are the heart and soul keeping this blog running! Ashley, who grew up in an extremely crafty family, learned to sew at a very young age, and while she has a background in investment banking (and the MBA to go along with it), art called her back to where she belongs. Alongside Lil Blue Boo, Ashley runs a self-named business where she paints stunning children’s portraits, art murals, and faux finishes.
