Jayme Lillie, mother of three in Tacoma, Washington.
Why We Love Her:
This stay-at-home mom’s designs and craftsmanship stand on their own, but we truly love that all of her dresses are made from materials that had a life, a purpose and a story prior to climbing trees and twirling in the backyard. And while girl clothes are her specialty, she has the occasional little boy number that makes our hearts melt – like her adorable and summery “Mito Mike Shorts,” which donates a portion of every purchase to help children battling mitochondrial disease. Jayme’s seasoned sewing skills (starting when she was only 4 years old) and eye for imaginative designs, all of which are inspired by her own children, provide parents with alternatives to mass-produced, generic garments.
