Naomi Terblanche, mother of two in Wonthaggi, Australia.
Why We Love Her:
After living overseas for six years, Naomi returned to Australia with her new South African husband and a baby on the way. Her pregnancy made it difficult to find work, so she decided to finally follow her passion and start her own clothing line called Thula Thula, a Zulu word meaning hush, quiet. Appropriate, we think, since there certainly is a hushed tranquility in her intricately designed clothes, channeling a vintage 1940s look. Simple, charming and timeless – the kind of summer attire that childhoods are made of. She’s also in the process of re-launching her line for premature babies, inspired by her own child, Aiden, who was born at 25 weeks.
