Top 50 Food Apps for Moms

Whether you're placating hungry kiddos, planning the week's menu, or getting ready for an all-too-rare date night, you're constantly answering the question: What's for dinner? Luckily, with its ability to keep you organized, map store routes, and gather reviews and recipes in seconds, your smartphone was built to solve this daily dilemma. Read More ยป
For Babble's roundup of the top 50 iPhone, iPad, and Android food apps for moms, we tried to cover the range of food-related thinking: from grocery shopping to meal preparation, all the way to food allergies and other dietary specifics that might be concerns for your family. Bon app'tit and be sure to tell us about your favorite food apps, too! - Aaron Burgess

Epicurious’ Rankings

Pulling together more than 30,000 food and drink recipes from top chefs, cookbooks, magazines, and related foodie resources, Epicurious puts the meatiest features (figuratively and literally) of Epicurious.com in the palm of your hand. Recipe categories are organized by skill level and theme – “Dishes Kids Love” and “I Can Barely Cook” are among our favorites – but you can also search based on ingredients, the courses you’re preparing, or any dietary limitations you and yours might have. Additionally, Epicurious lets you add ingredients to a shopping list and save your favorite recipes. If you’re more of a classicist when it comes to recipe organization, there’s even an Epicurious app for an HP printer that enables you to send recipes directly to your printer.
