10 Festive Halloween Pieces for Women Who Don’t Like To Dress Up

Now that I’m an adult, I don’t really have any interest in dressing up for Halloween. I love dressing my kids up, and spending the month planning and making their costumes, but by the time I’m done with theirs, I have no time, energy or motivation to dress myself up. However, I still like to wear something festive just to celebrate.

So as I looked around the web for something fun and festive (that wasn’t a costume), I found some fun things I thought I’d share.

Click through for 10 festive pieces that are fun for Halloween but not too costume-y!

  • Skeleton Tee 1 of 10

I kind of love these kinds of skeleton tops. The little heart just makes it a little bit sweeter.

Find it at Old Navy for $16.94.

  • Orange Pencil Skirt 2 of 10

An orange pencil skirt definitely seems like an essential for fall. Pairing it with fall hues like purple, burgandy or dark rich browns will make it a piece you can wear a million more times. But paired with black, it's definitely Halloween material.

Find it at JCPenney for $24.99 (on sale!)

  • Black and Orange Striped Tee 3 of 10

The stripes on this are actually navy, which is perfect because although it has a Halloween feel, you can wear it any time after Halloween and not feel Halloween-ish at all.

Find it at Target for $12.00.

  • Wrap Cardigan 4 of 10
    Screen Shot 2013-10-17 at 4.49.01 PM.png

This comfy wrap cardigan is the perfect shade of orange for Halloween, but is toned down enough that you could wear it all year long.

Find it at Target for $22.99.

  • Panda Sweatshirt 5 of 10
    Screen Shot 2013-10-17 at 4.42.32 PM.png

This sweatshirt is clearly not meant for Halloween, but I kind of love that it's sort of a costume while still being just an adorable hoodie. I would totally wear this thing all year long!

Find it at Asos for $32.02.

  • Skeleton Sweatshirt 6 of 10

Another fun skeleton top, except that this one is a sweatshirt (which I love), AND it glows in the dark!!

Find it at Asos for $53.39.

  • Boo Tee 7 of 10

A gray dolman top is super easy to wear, and the simple bat graphic makes it festive but not over the top.

Find it at Old Navy for $16.94.

  • Orange Maxi 8 of 10
    Screen Shot 2013-10-17 at 4.53.44 PM.png

This bright orange maxi skirt is kind of fabulous, don't you think? The bright color just speaks for itself.

Find it at Asos for $32.04.

  • Jack-O-Lantern 9 of 10

If you're not going for subtle, but also don't want to dress up, this cute graphic tee is perfect.

Find it at Target for $10.00!

  • Orange Jeans 10 of 10
    Screen Shot 2013-10-17 at 4.52.31 PM.png

I own a pair of orange jeans and they're so fun to wear during the fall. Paired with a black top, this is a perfect outfit that feels a bit festive, but is still just a normal outfit.

Find them at Loft for $54.99.
