The animal print trend isn’t going anywhere fast and leopard print has been a classic for decades now. One of my all-time favorite items in my closet is a faux fur leopard print coat my grandma made for herself in the 1960’s. Nothing compares to it and I wear it every single fall and winter to spice up my basics or make a black on black outfit POP! But a leopard blouse is probably a bit more versatile and a great wardrobe basic to keep on had. I found mine for a few bucks at a thrift shop ages ago and because it’s polyester, it will last forever. Casual Cool! 2 of 12
Another favorite look, I'm still wearing these cargo pants now, two+ years later, but I love the way they sort of dress down the blouse and gives it an edgier feel.

Get Wacky! 3 of 12
This was a test in patterns and colors and head to toe leopard print. While the blouse is a more traditional close-up print, these funky vintage pants have actual leopards printed on them. I added bright accessories and a classic bag and the outfit, while a little out there, actually worked. Get creative!

Faded Out! 4 of 12
I wore this to an evening art exhibit and it worked because the taupe skinny pants and green army style jacket are of the same faded tones which make the leopard print blouse pop. With black accents and accessories, all bases are covered.

Safari Chic! 6 of 12
One of my all time favorites, I loved wearing this outfit! I wouldn't normally pair a blouse with shorts, but it was a chillier summer day, and I loved the safari-feel the animal print blouse, DIY tassel necklace and dueling wrists full of gold bangles gave it.

Mix Prints! 8 of 12
Leopard is great for mixing prints. Here I've worn it under a silky summery floral print dress, added tights and a vest and made it work for the chillier October months.

Make it a Jacket! 9 of 12
By simply tying up the edges and leaving it unbuttoned and worn over a loose and flowing tank, I created a cute little cropped jacket look with the same old leopard blouse. You can do this with any blouse, of course, but pairing leopard print with a soft peachy pink creates a really feminine and pretty look.

Coral Red Leather Makes it POP! 10 of 12
Red works well with leopard print but has a tendency to look tacky. I love this vintage coral red leather coat from the 60's because it makes it classic. And paired again with my Lovestory dark denim flares for a completely different look.

Loose and Layered! 12 of 12
I wore this to Christmas Eve at my uncle's house. We're a casual family, but the vintage short sleeved sweater gave my loose blouse a fitted and more flattering style but remained comfortable.
