20 Holiday Heels for under $100The Girls With Glasses
Some people collect stamps or snow globes or buttons, I collect shoes. Confession: I have two and a half closets full. I have been collecting them for years and have a hard time parting with them. I still have pairs from 10 years ago. Whether they’re cheap, hand-me-downs, vintage, from sets, investments or gifts, I love them all. I still have a Sam Edelman pair from American Idol that I wear on the regular. And If you are like me, then you’ve been known to plan a whole look, around your shoes. For example, senior prom. Yes, I bought the shoes first and then found a dress to match.
Since I was old enough to walk I’ve been head over heels (pun intended) in love with shoes, particularly high heels. Story goes that my grandpa took me to Payless when I was two, of course I wanted nothing to do with the juvenile baby shoes my size, so I wandered to the women’s sizes and tried on every pump in my reach. My sweet Grandpa Woods let me do this for a while, but when it was time to go, I threw a serious baby fit. As I got a little older I begged my mom for those pink plastic princess shoes because they were the closest thing to a high heel my size. I fantasized about the day that I could finally fit my foot into a size 5 shoe so I could wear all of the fancy heels of my dreams. Indeed, I loved shoes then and I love shoes now. So much that my first email address was “iwuvshoes.” Why the “wuv”? Well, iloveshoes and iluvshoes was taken, and at the time my baby brother pronounced all his Ls as Ws, hence “iwuvshoes.” I told this story to the president of DSW when he came to the Idol set. He remembered that story and called me a year later to be in one of their commercials. All true stories.
Oh and did I mention that my first real job was selling shoes at Nordstrom? Yep, it was. For a short time, the women’s shoe department cured me of my insatiable appetite for more shoes. It was a hard job. But after a year in shoes, I ended up in Customer Service and when payday came around I was back down in the shoe department! With the holidays at our feet (another pun intended), we are all getting dressed up for parties and festivities! Whether you’ve already found the dress, or you are looking for some inspiration for how to dress up, you are gonna need a pair of gorgeous shoes. As much as we all would love to slip our foot into a pair of Jimmy Choo’s, it’s likely not in our holiday budget with gifts, food, and trims on the list. So I found 20 pretty pairs for under $100! From silver and gold, from traditional and classic, to shiny and sparkly, or something a little more out of the box (sorry, I had too), I’ve got a pair for you!

For the modern gal, these high heels offer high style for a low price. I am really digging the gold snake print with the black detailing. This shoe will work long after the holiday is over. I think that I need these.

I am calling these the "Cinderella" shoe. These are gorgeous and glamourous in the classiest way. Such a classic elegant shape, and I love the color. Also available in gold, red, and multi. They really are perfect.

We are not messing around with these tall sparkly numbers. They are high, but they do promise a platform which might give you a little something in comfort. And let's be honest, you aren't wearing these for comfort. However, if you are looking to grow about five inches taller in time for your holiday party then, here you go. This T-strap pair is super modern, young, sparkly and sexy. You probably need these. I probably do too.

On the other end of the spectrum, maybe you're a tall lady with a not-so-tall partner and you still want to wear a heel on your holiday. This little demure kitten heel will work for you. Or you just hate wearing heels but you HAVE to, then these won't kill you.

A strappy black heel is in order. For all of your LBD needs. We all could use a heel like this in our shoe arsenal. I could, and hey, not a bad price!?

How about this shiny gold patten leather pair? I think these are a sassy classic, you really can't go wrong.
Glint Radiance 9 of 21
In the event that you are attending a black tie holiday party, you really need to bling it up and get fancy. How about this pretty pair from Glint? A little cubic zirconias on the feet never hurt nobody.

If you are worried about standing around awkwardly at the party? Perhaps you need these shoes, as they're to be sure to be a conversation starter. Perhaps the cute guy you got to talking with at the Christmas party will take you out on a Valentines date, in which case, these shoes would also fit the occasion. Perhaps the cute guy is your husband, I hope so! If red isn't your preference they come in two other color combos. Cutest right?

I wasn't sure if these were kinda horrendous or fantastic. Whatever, I love them. Again you got the bling, and you got the green. Keepin' it festive friends, keepin' it festive.

I like these, totally a unique take on patten leather T straps with bows. Just add a net cage and a zip up the back and you are one stylish lady in these heels for hotties. I really adore them.

What can I say, Ivanka is making some lovely shoes. I love this nude pair of Mary Janes with the gold pointy toe accent. I think they are ladylike and classy.

Any Holiday Heel roundup would be incomplete without a red patten leather pair of peep toe heels. Also this heel is a manageable height, and of course there is a bow, it's Christmas!

Here's a shade of green that is inspired by the noblest of fir trees. Such a sophisticated hue in suede, all wrapped up in a cheery bow.
(PS. They're on sale.)

I'm absolutely crazy about this two tone red combo in a velvety suede a simple silhouette that makes a bold statement. Also should I mention that the hidden platform gives you extra height? This is a trend we're seeing this season. I'd walk out the door in these in a second.

These gold sequin pumps remind me a lot of these, but they're well over $200 less. (Also very similar to the Kate Spade pair Summer is wearing in the lead photo.) A classic staple, the slightly rounded toe is youthful so that you can wear this with your LBD AND a pair of jeans.

If you are looking for a strappy sandal that won't kill your feet while you're standing all nght, then this is the shoe for you. The heel isn't too high and they have such a modernized retro vibe.

Nude is the new black. Want to know a quick tip for longer legs? Go with a nude heel for a more monochromatic look from the leg to the foot. This neutral, versatile shade will take you through the Holidays to the seasons beyond.

Want to add a little edge to your party dress? Grab a pair of these studded velvet pumps and you're ready to rock.

A close knock-off of "the cutest shoes in the world." The pair I am wearing in the picture above are Kate Spade from 3 seasons ago, but these little glitter bow sling backs could definitely be their doppelganger.
