5 Affordable Rut-Busting Jewelry Pieces

I wear very little jewelry and the stuff I DO wear is generally pretty unexciting. I’m not big into statement necklaces or serious bling. I forget to put my wedding ring on 6 days out of 7.

I would call this a serious jewelry rut. I mentioned this to a couple of friends the other day and they all said, “ME TOO.” We all reach for the same stuff every day and haven’t picked up anything new in ages. So at least I’m in good company!

Here are 5 fun but super affordable jewelry pieces (one is under $2!) to help bust us out of our jewelry rut.

  • Geometric Rings 1 of 5
    OASAP Geometric Rings

I'm a huge fan of geometric jewelry and I think these rings are a fantastic and easy way to work the trend into your wardrobe. Plus, they're easy. Simple gold rings are an easy addition to just about any outfit, but the shape makes them anything but boring!

Find them at OASAP for $11.90

  • Delicate Cuff 2 of 5
    Charlotte Russe Caged Cuff

Cuffs are so much fun! This one is big enough to make a statement, but it's delicate enough to not be overwhelming.

Find it at Charlotte Russe for $6

  • Art Deco Earrings 3 of 5
    Etsy Art Deco Earrings

I am NOT an earring wearer. For some reason they make me feel way over-dressed. That being said, I love the elegance of long drop earrings and this pair is gorgeous and crazy affordable.

Find them on Etsy for $8

  • Paper Airplane Necklace 4 of 5
    Etsy Paper Airplane Necklace

I recently made a paper airplane banner for my son's back to school party so I've definitely got paper airplanes on the brain. And apparently Harry Styles of One Direction wears a necklace like this one? In any event, I think this necklace is awesome and my boys would love it too.

Find it at Etsy for $1.20

  • Mohawk Earrings 5 of 5
    Forever 21 Mohawk Earrings

These definitely aren't everyday type earrings, but they add a little edge without trying too hard!

Find them at Forever 21 for $4.80
