5 Easy Spring Trends for Men

Let’s hear it for the boys and the fabulous looks seen on the runways for spring that inspire a sea of stylish men. From florals to tassels, this season the modern man has a lot to choose from. Despite loving nearly every trend for men this year, here are 5 favorites that are already proving to be a hit and not just on the runway, on the walkways as well.

  • Fancy Florals 1 of 5
    floral

Oh my goodness, florals for spring? You don't say. Yeah, I know but floral on a man hasn't been as popular as it is this season. Big house designers like Prada and Dries Van Noten had it on the runway and J.Crew will put it in his closet.

    Available at J.Crew, $79.50

  • Bermuda Triangle 2 of 5
    bermuda

Bermuda shorts were all the rage at the Comme De Garçons' spring/summer runway show and have since been a focal point at many major retailers. This season, a preppy-hued bermuda is on my well-dressed man's list.

    Available at Brooks Brothers, $95

  • Blue Period 3 of 5
    blue

Pink was made for girls and blue was made for boys, as my daughter used to say. This season, the latter could not ring truer. From baby blue hues to classic navy, this season's "it" color for the boys is surprisingly (or not) blue.

Available at Zara, Blazer $100 | Trousers $60

  • Modern Elegance 4 of 5
    Modern Elegance

A man in an evening scarf or silk trousers like the looks seen on the Hermes runway (drool) is enough to make me blush. Inspired by the modern gentlemen, shows like Mad Men, and dare I say, Mr. Hugh Hefner, this season it is all about a touch of class.

    Available at Zara, $100

  • Sporty Spice 5 of 5
    sporty

Designers like Thom Browne with his designs for the French label Moncler Gamme Bleu had huge success on the runway with this season's biggest trend inspired by athletics. From track pants to wind jackets, this season's sporty casual has been upgraded to chic.

    Available at Zara, $50
