6 Ways to Style Camouflage PantsMerrick White
When camouflage started showing up a few months ago, I was not a fan. But as time has gone on, like most trends, I’ve embraced it. In fact, I like it so much that my camouflage pants might need a camouflage jacket friend. We shall see.
In the mean time, if you are thinking about trying out the camouflage trend, try a pair of pants (particularly these pants — they are the comfiest pants I own, and the camouflage print is just right…not too graphic, not too small, not too loud, etc). The longer I have them, the more I realize how incredibly versatile they are. And when you wear them, they add a fun and trendy element to your outfit that a normal pair of patterned pants often doesn’t.
Here are six easy ways to style them:
6 Easy Ways to Style Camouflage Pants 1 of 7
Denim Jacket 2 of 7
One of the easiest ways to wear them is with a jean jacket. Paired with a simple tee and jewelry, it looks effortlessly chic. Perfect for a weekend.
Pattern Mixed 3 of 7
Pattern mixing is one of my favorite things in an outfit, and a black and white striped shirt is the easiest thing to pattern mix. Neither of these patterns are too bold or overwhelming, so they compliment each other nicely.
Chambray 4 of 7
There is nothing in the world you can't pair with chambray, so why not camouflage? Add a pair of booties and you have the easiest outfit ever, and you still look put together.
Saturated Hues 5 of 7
Camouflage is full of muted, earthy colors, so adding a bright top is the perfect addition. Although I love the cobalt blue with the camouflage, any bright color would work here.
Leather 6 of 7
A black leather jacket is a perfect pairing with camouflage and adds a little bit of edginess to an otherwise simple outfit.
Peplum 7 of 7
Don't think that a casual print like camouflage can't be dressed up! Add a black peplum and strappy heels and you're ready for an evening out!
