10 Little Girl’s Fashions You’re Never Too Old For!

I look back on my childhood so fondly lately. A lot of it has to do with being a young mom, and feeling so close to my childhood still. This parenthood/adulthood part of my life is all still pretty new to me. So when I dress River in cute things, I feel a huge sense of mama pride. But, when I dress her in things that I can also dress myself in, there is outstanding happiness and pride! Although I an now an adult, some of my favorite childhood fashions, can be shared between the both of us. I am creating memories for her, and reliving memories of my very own. Fashion can seem silly at times, but for me, at times like this, it is something much greater.

Here are 10 little girl’s fashions you’re never too old for!

  • Denim Jacket 1 of 3

I remember as I little girl, on one of my first days of school, my mom dressed me in head to toe denim. I thought it was the best outfit, and no one could tell me different. The denim jeans had leopard on them, and so did the jacket. When it comes to dressing River in denim and myself, I love that I often remember that leopard number. I remember how it made me feel, and how it makes me feel as we both wear it now.

  • Tutus 2 of 3

I love me a good tutu. I often feel like I am having a Carrie Bradshaw moment every time I throw one on. For River, tutus are her favorite! They are perfect for play, for a ballet class, and for those days your toddler just refuses to get dressed. Tutus always win.

  • Hair bows 3 of 3

As soon as I gave birth to River she had on a huge head bow. One of the big obnoxious, please take her picture ones. And I reveled in it. I guess that was a bit of foreshadowing, because soon after I started wearing large hair bows. All different colors and sizes. It's become our thing.
