In the last few years boyfriend jeans have been added to the fashion list of classically stylish items you can throw on anytime and look pulled together and chic or like a complete and utter bum, and either are totally acceptable.
The name, obviously taken from the idea of throwing on your “boyfriend’s” old, oversized, ripped up jeans, cuffing the hems and belting them to fit your body, have become one of my favorite go-to items for work and for weekends for their relaxed fit and comfortably stylish look. And while vintage men’s Levi’s are still a viable option, brands from high-end to low, in dark washes to light, all have their own version of the classic boyfriend jean.
My favorite places to shop boyfriend jeans are: Asos, Shopbop, Topshop, Barneys NY, Bloomingdales, and vintage options at Ebay & Etsy… but don’t forget to check your local thrift shops for the best deals and original finds.

Layered Blouses 13 of 16
I love this look with layered blouses; it's my favorite way to get use out of items that may not work otherwise. This vintage graphic blouse was too short for these boyfriend jeans, but with the added flowing tank underneath, the outfit proportions balanced out. I wore this to work and out to dinner after.
