Little Punks! Cute Fall Looks for Kids

Punk’s deepest roots are in the 50s and 60s working class men and bikers known as “Greasers” and characterized by wearing leather jackets, T-shirts, cuffed jeans, and Chuck Taylor all-star high top sneakers or work boots. But in mid-70’s London, and influenced largely by music, Punk emerged as the underground youth culture revolted against all that was accepted as mainstream by adopting a need to express their individuality in a rebellious tone, and their customized & thrifted clothing did just that.

But now, rather than symbolizing defiance, rebellion and a revolt against societal norms, Punk Style has become mainstream like many other youth subculture trends and is accepted as a fashion choice rather than a political one. And the Fall/Winter runway collections were littered with fun and edgy punk looks, but they aren’t exclusive to us adults, the kids are having a little fun too! And as simple as pairing certain patterns like stripes and plaid with certain colors, like red, white, and black, with certain fabrics like denim, leather and jersey, kids can pull off these too cool for school looks in the cutest way possible.

Flip through the photos below for cute punk inspiration for kids and shop the looks as well.
