Mini and Me Style: Dressing for Spring

Mini and Me Style is one of my favorite series. Styling outfits with my darling little niece is such a blast and with her wardrobe of equally darling clothes, it’s fun to find something in an adult size that matches. I love these opportunities to teach a style tip and share a wardrobe combination!

Today is a special treat for me (and hopefully for you!) because I got to spend the weekend with this very niece, who is usually on the opposite side of the country! So rather than our normal side-by-side images, we took them together and we loved every second it.

Today for Mini and Me Style, we’re talking about transitioning your wardrobe into spring. Click through our matching outfits and see how we made them appropriate for those cool weeks and months when winter turns into spring.

My niece started with a summery dress, featuring some bright and happy colors, but toned down with a bit of gray. She paired it with a lightweight jacket because she knows that those spring days go from cold to hot without a warning. Then to keep the outfit from being too summery quite yet, she paired hr dress with some simple black mary jane shoes. Finally, she accessorized with a bright flower clip to complete the look.

For my outfit, I styled my military jacket with my new JUNIEblake dress. Rather than florals, I kept it modern and a bit more mature with a bold aztec-style print. Then I added black pumps and accessorized with simple silver jewelry.

This is definitely my favorite jacket. It's simple, without too much bulk or too many pockets, the perfect shade of army green, and it is super comfortable as well.

Find it at Chicwish for $67.92
