My Top 5 Go-To Outfits for Fall

I think every woman has a few outfits that she feels comfortable in. I certainly do, and there are always a few closet combinations that I gravitate toward during every season.

This fall I have a few combinations that I’m already finding myself putting together over and over. They range from very casual to dressy, so I feel like I have something”safe and comfortable” to wear for pretty much every occasion. And when I have multiple pieces in my closet to create each of these combinations, I can make quite a few outfits per combo. Win.

Tunics and leggings are one of the comfiest things to wear. A super soft gray one with leather detailing is so appropriate for fall, and when paired with lace-up booties, it's totally my style and on-trend.

All your summer dresses can still be worn throughout the fall -- just throw on a cardigan and a fun pair of flats, and you're ready for fall. And as it gets cooler, throw on a pair of tights!

  • Oversized Sweaters and Booties 4 of 6

An oversized sweater just screams fall to me. With a pair of jeans and booties, you have my fall staple.

I'm loving all the leather and plaid out there right now, and the combination of the two is so fierce. Don't feel like you have to wear a leather skirt and so much plaid to achieve this look either...try leggings with leather insets for just a hint of leather, and layer your plaid shirt under a sweater so you get just a hint of plaid at your wrists and neck.

Is anyone as obsessed with sweatshirts as I am? I'm building up quite a collection in my closet. This fall I'm loving them with a skirt and heels for a fun casual/dressy juxtaposition! I know I'll be wearing this combination until the heat forces me to take that sweatshirt off!
