Fall Pattern Mixing for Little Ones With Fleur + Dot

I love me some pattern mixing and when it comes to mixed patterns, no one does it quite like children’s clothing line Fleur + Dot. Almost all of their separates can be mixed and matched so that the options are practically endless, and their fall/winter collection is no different. They let me choose a few favorites to play dress-up with Fern, so I thought I’d share the photos, along with a few more favorites from their newest collection. Check it out!

See how we mixed and matched the fall/winter clothing line from Fleur + Dot, as well as a few more favorites from their super cute new line!

  • Shirt 2 of 10

Fern was totally obsessed with this horsey shirt and repeatedly reminded me that she had "horseys" on her shirt. I love that it could work for a boy or a girl and that it instantly adds whimsy to an outfit.

  • Suspenders 3 of 10

Oh, these suspenders. Not only are they ridiculously cute, but they also doubled as a distraction during a lunch date. A win win! I've already paired them with a few other outfits as well.

  • Shorts 4 of 10

These little polka dot shorts have a bloomer look to them, but aren't too baby'ish for older kids. The colors make them perfect for fall and shorts can absolutely work in the colder months when paired with tall socks or tights. I love the way the patterns work together in this look.

Finally, while the accessories are not from Fleur + Dot, I thought it was worth mentioning them as well. Headband is from Drop of Honey Bowtique and shoes are Rachel Riley for Fawn Shoppe. And now for a few more favorites from the Fleur + Dot fall/winter collection...

  • Ruby at the County Fair Peter Pan Collar Shift Dress 6 of 10

This dress was a runner-up when I was trying to choose a Fleur + Dot ensemble. I love a good shift dress and this one is simultaneously sweet and cool.

  • Lavender or Grape Linen Ruffle Top Shorts 7 of 10

These shorts! I would've chosen these if they'd come in a color to match the horse shirt I chose. They are so perfect! The paper bag waist is adorable and I love the darker grape color that they come in.

  • Day Hike Extra Full Skirt and Sash 8 of 10

This skirt! Fern already has one of their skirts and I love it, so I was tempted to go for this one, but I'm happy with my shorts selection. It's still so cute with the horsey shirt though.

  • Linear Shirtdress with Sash 9 of 10

This little dress balances a vintage shape with a cool linear print. LOVE.

  • Went Roaming Extra Full Skirt and Sash 10 of 10

I don't typically think of florals as a "fall print", but this one changed my tune. I love it paired with the polka dots!
