Style File- From the STREETS to Your CLOSET: Neanna from Texas!Latonya Yvette
So a secret about me, and maybe, well, not so much a secret as much of a “once upon a time,” I used to sell vintage clothing. I really did not get far. There’s a lot of patience and time needed that I felt like I just didn’t have. Not to mention the incredible eye you must have! A vintage shop owner has to know her customer, but also has to know how to buy and price accordingly. None of which I have. So, there went that career. But still, to this day I have such a high level of respect for vintage shop owners. I tend to try and pick their brains any chance I get.
Neanna was no different. The coat she wore on a chilly day in Brooklyn just spoke to me! Maybe it’s because I have a coat almost exactly the same that I was considering wearing the day I met her. Ha!
Neanna’s shop is such a gem, and I am actually super excited to visit her this Saturday at the flea (she’s there every Saturday!). Neanna knows how to pick them, sell them, and wear them! You can follow, shop, and just say hi to Neanna on instagram @bogartandmoore and @shopbogartandmoore!
Here’s how Neanna’s street style can be in your closet!
Jacket 1 of 9
The first thing that caught my eye about Neanna was her killer jacket! I love how it's camo, but it doesn't actually look camo!
Glasses 2 of 9
Whether your specs are just for show or prescribed, it's always a great idea to pair them with an unlikely combination. More of a wow factor, like Neanna's.
Shirt 3 of 9
A chambray top is a basic nowadays. It goes great with everything, and is a useful layering piece.
Available at Madewell $59.50

The lady herself!
Tie 5 of 9
A men's tie is one of those unisex clothing pieces that isn't outwardly unisex, but works so well for men and women!
Her smile matches her personality 6 of 9
Lovely and sunny!
Jeans 7 of 9
After many years in rotation, boyfriend jeans are still kicking, and some of us (me!) are quite content with this.
Boots 8 of 9
Throughout the summer and now in fall, I notice that natural colored booties are a must! They transition as seasons change, and pretty much look great with everything.
Thank you Neanna! 9 of 9
