Trend Alert: Leopard Print (and 5 Easy Ways to Subtly Add It to Your Look)

Leopard is such a classic animal print, and has been around for ages, but in the last few years it has made a big resurgence and is absolutely everywhere. And although it’s so prominent these days, I think the average woman may still feel intimidated by this print, and feel that it’s a bit too sexy to wear in an everyday kind of way.

Well here’s the answer, it’s not. It’s a gorgeous print that any woman can and should wear confidently, and it can easily fit into any woman’s wardrobe (in fact, check out Maegan’s 11 Ways To Wear a Leopard Blouse). But if you’re still feeling nervous about it, here are five easy ways to subtly incorporate leopard print into your look.

The larger leopard print is super appealing to me, and is so chic. The classic shape of these shoes also makes them easy to pair with anything and everything. Wearing a pair of leopard heels will add just a bit of fun to your feet.

Find them on 6pm for $71.99.

A leopard print scarf is a great way to add the print to your look. If you're nervous about it being too crazy, wear it with a very simple classic outfit, like the black jeans and white tee seen on the model.

Find this scarf at Express for $29.90.

A super subtle way to add the print is through hair accessories. This cute headband from J.Crew adds just a fun little touch to your updo. These pretty leopard hair ties from Nordstrom are another great alternative for your ponytail or braid.

Find the headband at J.Crew for $16.50.

Leopard jewelry can go from fun to tacky really quickly, but this beautiful leopard bracelet is anything but tacky. I would definitely wear this with my gold watch and a few other pretty gold bracelets for a simple pop of leopard.

Find it at The Limited for $17.97.

A leopard print belt is one of my favorite ways to incorporate this trend. I have this belt and wear it all the time for a little pattern mixing, or with a solid color for a pop of pattern.

Find it at Target for $16.99.
