Tip Junkie | Laurie Turk

The What’s What: Need last-minute party ideas? Or maybe some killer recipes to impress your in-laws (or your picky eaters)? Look no further than Tip Junkie, a website designed to make your day-to-day life easier. Part DIY-haven, part reader-driven content, Tip Junkie mama Laurie loves to promote the “little guys” (or girls) that may not have the resources to do it themselves. She encourages her audience to submit their own tips, including ones for her recent (and popular) feature “How to Date Your Spouse.”
The Mama: Laurie Turk, a.k.a. the Tip Junkie, is a stay-at-home mama of three boys (each of which, she jokes, has made her “more girly”). And while she refers to herself as the “cruise director” of her family, Laurie is a mom-preneur all her own: Aside from running Tip Junkie, she has a personal blog (A Fabulously Flawed Life), and is also a co-founder of Chic Chick Media, a website that pushes her fellow mom-preneurs to be the best they can be through affordable advertising.
