PicMonkey Offers Affiliate Program

Picmonkey now offers an affiliate program! It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of the photo editing site PicMonkey (I used it to design my media kit!). In case you live under a blogging rock, you know PicMonkey was founded by some of the engineers of the beloved Picnik, another popular photo editing site Google purchased and subsequently gutted and closed.

But PicMonkey rose from the ashes and launched a great alternative option, and after initially being free added a fee-based version of the app offering more functionality and zero ads. I can’t imagine going back to using more clunky photo editing options (I tried to use Photoshop recently and WOW, is PicMonkey a better for my needs!).

When PicMonkey began offering a paid version last December, a question many bloggers asked was, “Is there an affiliate program?” And good news! There is now.

Thank you for your interest in the PicMonkey affiliate program. PicMonkey (picmonkey.com) is an online photo editor that says Booyah! to whatever your creative heart desires: basic editing all the way to advanced stuff like cloning, touch up and eye-gasmic effects. We connect with a beloved community of tens of millions of photo enthusiasts and professionals, small business owners, educators, crafters, lifestyle dynamos, and bloggers. If that sounds like you and your readers, participating in our affiliate program is a natch (that’s monkey speak for “natural”)!

The terms for the affiliate program (note: no links in this post are affiliate links) are generous, with a 50% commission rate and 25% for renewals. Plus there is a 90-day cookie, which is rare.

For those of us that do extensive photo editing, this couldn’t be better news. Check it out!
