Why hello there November! I didn’t expect to see you this soon, but alas the year has flown right on by and you have arrived. With your cool weather and holiday spirit, you are by far one of my favorite months.
As a mom to 2 toddlers, I am often all wrapped up in the day to day CRAZY that we call our lives. It’s a non-stop, bee-bop of CHAOS, but what I forget that it’s purposeful chaos. There is a reason for this madness and under all of the crying, temper tantrums and fits there are these 2 toddlers that I am so thankful God put in our lives. These toddlers have changed our lives in ways we will never know.
This month I wanted to remind myself of the purposeful and try not to think too much about the chaos. In order to do that, I’m taking each day in November and recognizing why I am thankful for my toddlers. Rather than dwelling on the filthy kitchen floor or soap that is all over the toilet seat (don’t ask), 30 days of thankfulness for all these toddlers have brought to our lives.
Who needs one day of thanksgiving, when you can have 30? 30 days of gratitude, no dwelling on chaos. I would love for you to join me, more details below.
Today I am thankful for LAUGHTER. Both the laughter that our toddlers bring to us, and for their laughter.
Life can be heavy. Times can be tough. But with the innocence of a toddler, all you can do is laugh. Sometimes it maybe after crying, but at the end of the day they are new to this world and don’t no better.
And when you can’t laugh? The sweet sound of my little Zeke’s laughter or the evil HA HA HA HA laughter of my Izaiah always lifts my spirit when down in the dumps.
Join me in gratitude! Link-up your blog or leave a comment on why you are thankful for today!
