It is something that I haven’t done since my oldest son was just a couple of months old. I went back to work, working nights for a while until I realized I actually needed to sleep at some point in time.
Two years ago I started working from home, and I have loved every minute of being a freelance blogger. But now, I have gotten to a crossroads in my own life where I feel the need to leave the home and go back to work.
Just in time for an amazing opportunity to unfold as well.
But I have to say, I put a ton of thought back into this over the past two months. It’s what I needed to really consider working full-time again.
It isn’t a decision that I take lightly because I am not going to stop what I am doing from home. It will really double the work load I already have, plus my three kids and household chores. Not to mention my own social life!
I am extremely thankful for a supportive family, especially my mother, who I have asked to be my in-home childcare if I do score this awesome position. (Pray for me y’all!)
Money!
I think money is at the root of my decision. We get by, and our children don't go without. But I would love to see more going into my savings account! I don't want to just get by. Photo Credit: Flickr!
I feel my sanity slipping at least once a week. Being a stay-at-home-mom is an amazing and rewarding job. Some of us just aren't completely cut out for it!
Some days I feel like being at home with the kids, or even on the days where I don't have to do work at home, I am not using my brain and it is slowly seeping right out of my ear. I need to start using my intellect again! Photo Credit: Flickr!
Like so many parents, daycare becomes a huge dilemma, especially with the large price tag that goes along with it. I am so thankful to have my mother to help out with this. It is certainly a deciding factor for me! Photo Credit: Flickr!
Being able to look and find something with flexible hours that allow me to continue to be an involved mom are another selling point! Photo Credit: Flickr!
I have a hard time really sticking to a schedule, no matter how much I write it down on paper. But if I am working outside of the home, it will help me to keep to the schedules that I do make!
I have to admit, simple things like meals and taking care of myself go to the wayside when I am taking care of all the children. This will be a great opportunity for me to at least eat during the day! Photo Credit: Flickr!

Social Auto-Sharing Facts:
Q: What's the deal with this 'Social Sharing' box I see on articles and videos? What's it do?
A. You can now automatically share with your friends everything you're reading and watching on Babble -- no more extra clicks or updates to inform your friends of the hottest posts and information from your favorite bloggers. Let them see what you're reading, have all your friends do the same and consider yourselves the most informed parents around.
Q: What if I don't want to share everything I'm doing? My boss will see I'm on Babble way too much, and I might be reading something on a sensitive topic that I don't want people seeing that I'm reading.
A. You're in total control -- turn sharing on, turn it off, or set your share setting to "Share only posts I choose to share." When this option is selected an option will appear above posts to share or not to share, just toggle it in between articles you want to share and those that you don't -- whatever you want.
Q: What if I shared something I didn't want to?
