My little Peony, 14 months, is like an overflowing bowl of sugar. She’s as sweet as they come. And that’s just when she’s awake.
When she’s asleep, I want to scoop her up and stuff her back into my belly so I can absorb every last inch of her unconscious darling self. I can play with her for hours on end, but I can watch her sleep forever. She’s so perfect and lovely and snuggly and innocent that sometimes I feel physical pain from her adorableness.
Here are some photos of her sleeping, which, as you’ll see, are proof that a sleeping child is a happy mom, and evidence that not just the Grinch’s heart can grow three times it’s size in a single day:
