10 Adorable Matching Holiday Outfits for SistersLauren Jimeson
My sister and I were always dressed the same as little kids. At only 13 months apart, people would always ask my mom if we were twins. Of course she would say no, but that she just enjoyed dressing us the same.
I don’t have fond memories of us dressing alike, and I promised myself I would never do it to my kids when I had them. Now that I have two little girls, I know exactly the power that overcame my mother when she wanted to dress us in the same outfit because I find myself wanting to do it, too.
I don’t dress them in the same outfits on a regular occasion, but I do like them to dress similarly on major holidays. So far, the girls haven’t seemed to mind it and actually enjoy looking like one another (they are much more willing to pose for a picture). With Christmas coming up, I’ve been on the hunt for some great dresses for them to wear. Some that I’ve found are the same print, and others just compliment each other really well.
If you have two little girls that you want to match this holiday season, check out these gorgeous holiday dresses.

Pretty in Pink 2 of 10
If your girls are anything like mine, they are obsessed with the color pink. I love that these two dresses aren't exactly alike, but the colors complement each other so well. With the bows around the waist and the light pink dress matching the light pink bow on the other dress, this is a great option for those who don't want to completely match but rather go together.
Envy in Green 3 of 10
This is probably one of my favorite combinations. I love the dark green color, as it's a really beautiful color for the holiday season. I'm currently obsessed with all things plaid and think the classic plaid dress is absolutely stunning. My older daughter would love the little jewels at the top of the solid green dress. Just the right amount of sparkle she needs.
Sweeter in Sweaters 4 of 10
Cable knit sweater dresses are so classic. These look so similar, but the tie in the dress on the left lets it stand out a bit from the other one. These are great dresses because they can be used all season long and can be dressed up or down!
Perfect in Polka Dots 5 of 10
You can never go wrong with black and white as they are such classic colors. I love these polka-dot dresses. The gorgeous collar on the full polka-dot dress is stunning, and I love the little flower on the other dress as it adds a little accessory to the top.
Rock the Red 6 of 10
Red is such a beautiful color, especially this time of year. These are both great, classic dresses that go really well together. I love the polka-dot detail and the two pockets with the seam down the middle of the other dress makes it stand out.
Mad for Plaid 7 of 10
I told you I was obsessed with plaid, especially red and black checkered plaid. These dresses don't have the exact pattern but are similar enough to go great together. The ruffles around the color really tie in the look.
Tutu-rific 8 of 10
My oldest daughter has the dress on the left in another color and it's quickly become one of her favorite "twirl" dresses. She loves the tulle around it. These two dresses would go great together because the tulle and red accents complement each other well.
Black and White 9 of 10
One of these dresses is busy while the other one is so simple, yet they look great together. The white might be better for your older girl so that you have less risk of getting it dirty, while the star dress would be perfect for the younger little girl!
