These are so cute!

I’ll be the first person to say that craft is not my forte. It’s not that I don’t like to do it, it’s more that I rarely find crafts that are appealing enough to make. So when I went seeking crafts for toddlers and preschoolers, I tried to imagine things that I’d like to have, and I’d like to help my toddler make. Most of these crafts involve some memory of summer camp art projects.

Wait, am I supposed to make my own Mother’s Day crafts??? That’s kinda b*llsh*t, right?

Well, who else is going to help make them?

On the off chance that any Dads are reading this, or maybe some awesome aunts/uncles/grandpas and friends, here are some fun-looking crafts that your preschooler and toddler can help make, that might not fall apart in five seconds.

LOVE the mug idea. I think I’ll do that for fathers day. My baby will be a year. Do you think that’s old enough to not try and lick the paint? Maybe I’ll just trace his hand with a pencil (if I can get him to hold still that long) and paint around it, making a negative outline instead.

    1. Naomi says:

Meagan, not sure about the paint licking but if you do it really fast and have towels at the ready to wipe his hands, it might work!

LOVE the mug idea. What kind of paint do you use and how to you finish it? Is there a website you learned to do this that I can follow?
