We all want to be nice parents. We all want our kids to love us to the ends of the earth, which is only half as much as we love them, right?
We also want to do what’s best for them, and for every parent that’s different.
For me, the “rules” and “standards” we have chosen for our children are not necessarily what I would’ve imagined, but they work for us, at least for now. Some of them may seem a little harsh, but as the old adage goes, “They’ll thank me later.”
Or will they?
