I’m hoping that this next year will be better than the past year. Not that it was a bad year, it wasn’t. It was a great year. But it was a really busy year for our family, and time just seemed to fly by, and lately I’ve been looking at my kids and thinking, when did you get so big?
They grow up so quickly. Too quickly.
Yesterday I talked about how I am often dissapointed with the memories that I am able to capture of my kids. And as this past year went by so quickly, I look back and think that there were so many things that I missed out capturing, and how that memory might be lost forever. Because while it’s still in my head, for now, as a mom of young children, my memory is definitely not what it used to be. I know that if I want to do a better job of both creating, and capturing, memories, then I am definitely going to need to be more intentional about it.
So, I’ve been gathering ideas and ways to remember the little things, and to make the most of capturing the big moments too. One of my goals for the New Year is to capture more memories of my kids so that we will have them to look back on as the years fly by.
Here are six way to both make, and capture, memories with your little ones in the New Year.
Have you set any goals for capturing memories of your kids in the upcoming year?
