Also known as testing the waters around here to get them used to this Halloween thing. So far, both of my children pretty much despise wearing a costume and we have a whole other theme going on for the actual day.
I suppose this would be a severe case of Halloween clearly being for me, and not for them. I will reign supreme however, and sway them the direction of all that is awesome of this holiday, so help me! I’m thinking the candy will play a major role in their conversion over to the dark side.
So right. Some pictures were taken and even though they were less than thrilled with it all – a sourpuss is still cute and anytime that Wyndahm has an opportunity to barrel into his sister and attempt at wrestling with her – the kid will beam. No matter what’s going on. So. 1 out of 2 ain’t bad…
In The Beginning… 1 of 8My son didn't always smile like this. Yes, that's right, that's his fake smile. Or, we can pretend that he himself is playing at the lion bit.
Unsavoury Business 2 of 8While her brother looks slightly amused, Abby isn't so sure about this monkey suit business. I don't think she was a fan.
Tough Audience 3 of 8Hard to get even a hint of a smile here. Unfortunately for her, whether she likes it or not - kid looks CUTE in this get-up. And thus the fate of small children almost everywhere come Halloween.
One For The Walls 4 of 8And for the grandparents. And the aunties. They'll all want a copy of this, obviously.
Swimming in Monkey 5 of 8Even though this costume was obviously a tad bit too large for her, girl rocked it in a nonchalant, take it or leave it manner. That's what was going on here right? She didn't hate life, nawwww - just being coy. And perhaps thinking about having a snack.
The Real McCoy 6 of 8Now that's the grin we know and love! He must have been mid-steam torturing Abby.
What In The Actual Eff? 7 of 8If babies could (or had the desire to) swear...this is what she'd be saying. Girl wants out of the monkey suit stat and there better be some milk, a granola bar and next time? Next time a tutu better be involved.
Killing Me Softly With This One 8 of 8Another one for Christmas gifties. Yea, so I said it. We're there. It's happening. The holiday has already thrown up in every departments store out there so we might as well get used to it. Anyways, who cares? Look at how gorgeous my child is.
