Birth To Toddlerhood: A Trio Of Expression

Abby turned 2 last Friday. We had a quiet, simple (breakfast) dinner that night in lieu of the big shin-dig that was to go down the next day. I edited the photos from her big party for much of this morning, which of course led me down a rabbit hole of 2 years of documentation.

During that bittersweet foray, I came across a trio of very similar pictures from birth to present, full-on ‘Toddlerhood’ day. Pretty cute if you ask me – but of course, I am partial. Incredibly so.

Diva Baby

Can you blame me? Didn’t think so.

I’m keeping this short and sweet because my friends? I have so much to share, to tell. About Abby’s crazy-wonderful Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party, to our camping recent camping trip and all sorts of developments and discoveries in between. It’s been a long, emotional week to say the least.

Right now? Right now we are puttering through putting the house together after it being rammed to the rafters with loved ones celebrating the birth and health of our little girl. I’m slowly getting back into a work head-space and splicing together video (last night and tonight), to make my annual video of Abby – something I try to do in time for each of my children’s’ birthdays, although I missed Wyndham’s last year. It’s 3 quarters done (his) and I’m just not going to put a deadline on them anymore. A movie made once a year, detailing the lives and developments of my little ones unique individuality is what I’ll commit myself to for now on. Before or after their birthday… whenever.

I’ll be posting the pictures from Abby’s party later today on my personal blog and a couple of DIYs and recipes from the day throughout the week, linking up here for your viewing, culinary, and crafty pleasure.
