The tricycle is a long time favorite in our home. We received a hand-me-down tricycle 8 years ago for our oldest son and oh how it was loved!
Design Your Own Radio Flyer Tricycle
Gone are the days of the simple red tricycle. Radio Flyer has reinvented the tricycle. Just like you can customize your car, you can now customize a tricycle! With everything from a base model to a pimped out fully loaded model, you can pick and choose what you want.
Design Your Own Tricycle 1 of 11
Gone are the days of the simple red tricycle. Radio Flyer has a trike that is made for 9 months to 5 years old. The best part? You get to design it yourself! Pick and choose from the following features.
Color 2 of 11
Red or Pink? This is your first choice when designing your tricycle. Both colors have an adjustable grow-with-me seat, durable steel frame, and fold-away footrest and are made for up to 49 lbs.
Tires 3 of 11
Pick and choose which tires you want. The classic are great on even surfaces, where the air you can roll on all-terrain.
Storage 4 of 11
The bucket will hold a few toys, while the basket holds 5x more.
UV Canopy 5 of 11
The UV blocking canopy will provide shade for your rider.
Head Rest and Seat Belt 6 of 11
The headrest is attached to a 3-point safety seatbelt for extra security. I can see this being extra helpful when using the tricycle with young riders.
Wrap Around Tray 7 of 11
The wrap around try gives extra protection for riders as well as a cup holder and two snack spots.
Speaker 8 of 11
This is one of my personal favorite features that Red Flyer offers. It's a speaker for the tricycle! If you are a mom who walks her kid, now share the music with this speaker. The weather-resistant case connects to any MP3 player.
Parent Pouch 9 of 11
Keep your keys, phone, money, etc. in this handy little parent pouch.
Classic Bell 10 of 11
A classic bell for your little one to ring.... I think this maybe one option we would not opt for.
Personalized Plates 11 of 11
Don't get your tricycle mixed up with the next guy's. You can order a personal name plate for your toddler's tricycle.
These tricycles are built to last and are designed to grow with your kids in stages – starting at 9 months, going up to 5 years old. Prices start at $75 for a base model and go up to $205 with a fully customized (name plate included) model.
If you think the build your own tricycle is cool, check our their build your own wagon.
