Dino Evan

I recently wrote about my toddler’s fascination with tools, but now, we have moved on to a new toy phase that may just rival his interest in tools — dinosaurs.

I have to admit, there is something particularly adorable about his interest in dinosaurs, and I love to see how excited he gets when he plays with his dinosaur toys.

He is also really into the Nickelodeon show, Dino Dan, and I have been calling him Dino Evan, which he loves!

Did your little boy or girl go through a dinosaur phase?

The best thing about Dino Dan, is that it isn’t a cartoon. It’s so refreshing to be able to watch a show that isn’t animated, and doesn’t involve the repetition of one phrase five million times.

Evan is also really interested in a dinosaur book that he received as a Christmas gift, called Dinosaur A-Z.

From Allosaurus to Zephyrosaurus, this book is a great way to not only discuss the characteristics of your toddler’s favorite dinosaurs, but introduces the alphabet in a fun way.
