In the past week of my life, the same app on my iPad has saved the day a hand full of times. No seriously, out to dinner or breakfast with a toddler who is not verbal and hungry? Yeah, the only thing that can save the day is Mickey Mouse!
Yesterday morning Mickey Mouse saved the elderly couple next to us from a near nuclear meltdown from Addison. They thought it was the neatest thing since sliced bread that she could sit and smile at Mickey Mouse while we waited for our breakfast to be delivered. But it doesn’t stop there, because Disney Junior has launched two new awesome kid friendly apps which will continue to save the day for millions of parents!
We have been using the Disney Junior Watch app in our house for roughly a month and our kids are able to watch all their favorite Disney Junior shows on demand. They are total Disney children, and during the summer, the older kid programing comes on earlier in the day which bums them out. (If you are a Comcast subscriber, you can watch a ton of the episodes daily via the app, but if you are not a Comcast subscriber you can watch all 10 episodes that aired that day.)
Bums me out too!
But now we have two new awesome Disney Junior apps to play with besides the main Disney Junior app. The brand new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally app (for iPad only) and the awesome new Jake’s Never Land Pirate School app. Both are awesome and educational for your kids— and are age appropriate!
The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally app is for ages three and up, so the older toddlers get to enjoy the educational and free app! Who doesn’t love a free app? Come on!
As for Jake’s Never Land Pirate School app, you aren’t limited to iPad play. It is available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, and is for the same age group, three and up. Both are incredibly entertaining, educational and totally free!
So what are you waiting for? Take a minute and go download these awesome new and free apps!
Join us August 8th at 9 PM EST for a Disney Junior Twitter party! You could win an iPad. RSVP at http://bit.ly/QsXDE2 and use the hashtags #spon and #mackidtips
